This year I decided that because I am too lazy to get a real job I would make one for myself. Right-brained Sam has always loved sewing things, and Left-brained Sam has always had a slight interest in business (plus she's a total control freak and being owner of something sounded pretty sweet.)
And thus, Cranberry Corner was born.
Cranberry Corner is my boutique. A lovely little shop that sells mainly scarves but is venturing into more accessories and jewelry. This "project" is the perfect balance for my mind. Right-brained Sam now gets to sew and create and MAKE MONEY off of it (which is totally crazy and a dream come true!) and Left-brained Sam gets to analyze trends and manage money and have sole control over something that is kind of a big deal. Awesome right?
Cranberry Corner has also forced both sides of my brain to progress in areas like social interaction, and well....social interaction. (I have an irrational fear of talking to people on the phone. Don't judge.) And by doing this boutique I have gained so much life experience and now feel more prepared to enter the world as a normal human adult(ish).
So we'll see what becomes of this.
